The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held its 5th meeting

On the afternoon of September 15, the Standing Committee of the 19th Provincial People's Council held the 5th meeting to review and give opinions on matters under its authority. Comrade Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting.

Attending the meeting were comrades: Pham Thi Minh Xuan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Thi Thanh Tra, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; and leaders of the Provincial People's Council committees.

At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and delegates discussed and gave opinions on the following contents: Proposal to develop a 2026 supervision program of the Provincial People's Council; proposal to train operational skills of People's Council delegates of communes and wards; transfer of activities of the 19th Provincial People's Council Delegation, term 2021-2026; dismissal of delegates from the duties of 19th Provincial People's Council delegates and a number of other contents under their authority.

Comrade Pham Thi Minh Xuan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council spoke at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Van Son suggested that the 2026 supervision program of the Provincial People's Council should closely follow the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws; should focus on major issues, with a focus on key areas such as socio -economic development of the province, perfecting the two-level government apparatus and especially issues directly related to people's lives. He also requested that supervision work should be widely deployed, put into practice from the grassroots to closely grasp the situation.

Comrade Le Thi Thanh Tra, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council spoke at the meeting.

Regarding the training content of operational skills for People's Council delegates of communes and wards, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Van Son requested that documents be prepared carefully and with high applicability, following the motto "holding hands and showing work". At the same time, the application of information technology in training sessions needs to be promoted to improve the efficiency and modernity in the activities of People's Council delegates...
