The report of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee stated: In 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province and member organizations will innovate, create, and coordinate actions to complete 100% of the annual plan.

The congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province for the 2024-2029 term were successfully organized. Information and propaganda work was innovated, improved and promoted effectively. The gathering and solidarity of people from all walks of life continued to receive attention and there were many new points in the coordination, guidance and implementation.

The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has completed the scientific topic "Promoting the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in mobilizing and uniting religions and religious people in Quang Tri province", thereby building a handbook on front work in mobilizing and uniting religions and religious people in the province for front officials at all levels in the province.

With the motto of promoting the spirit of creativity and self-management of the People, taking the effectiveness and quality of life of the People as the goal, the fronts at all levels in the province have implemented patriotic emulation movements and campaigns in many forms, creative, practical and effective ways. Currently, the whole province has 75/101 communes recognized as meeting new rural standards, accounting for 74.2%, of which 16 communes are recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards.

There are 100 villages that meet the standards of model new rural villages, and 81 household gardens are recognized as model new rural gardens. Up to now, the whole province has 141 products with 3-4 stars, of which 43 products are 4 stars, 98 products are 3 stars. There are 79 OCOP subjects, of which there are 23 cooperatives, 22 enterprises, 9 cooperative groups and 25 production and business households.

Social security work and care for the poor have achieved many practical results, notably the successful implementation of the housing support project for poor households. In 2024, the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels in the province mobilized over 53 billion VND, supported the construction of 837 new Great Unity houses for poor households, worth 55.11 billion VND, supported the repair of 87 houses, worth 1.4 billion VND and many other support contents worth tens of billions of VND. As a result, from July 2022 to December 2024, 1,860/3,722 houses were built in the province's plan to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. All houses for poor households ensure the area and "3 hard" standards of the Ministry of Construction , with a life span of over 20 years. The total resources to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households from July 2022 to December 2024 is 126.33 billion VND.

The work of social supervision and criticism by the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations has been carried out effectively. Many contents of social supervision and criticism by the front have brought about positive results, thereby promptly overcoming shortcomings and inadequacies, creating consensus among the people, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people.

In 2025, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee identified 6 key programs, including participating in implementing the province's key task of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses according to the Project "Mobilizing resources to implement policies to support the construction of new houses for poor households in the province in the period of 2022-2026", striving to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province by August 2025 according to the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the plan of the Provincial Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses.

Concluding the working session, based on the report of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the opinions of delegates on innovating propaganda work suitable for all classes of people; plans and solutions to participate in implementing the policy of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province in 2025, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang requested the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to continue to study and change the approach to the people to convey the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws and effectively implement patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, national target programs to help people have a better life, thereby building a strong national solidarity bloc.

Along with that, continue to innovate propaganda methods, mobilize people and businesses to participate in building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; have a specific plan to join the province to speed up construction and complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province by August 2025 according to the province's plan.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang basically agreed with the recommendations of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and at the same time suggested some ways to select topics and projects that are close to the functions and tasks related to supervision, social criticism, innovation, improving the quality of voter contact, participation in party building, and government building so that the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee can study and implement them to achieve the best results.
