Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc appointed Chief of the Party Central Office

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc - Deputy Minister of Public Security - has been assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Chief of the Party Central Office.

On the morning of June 3, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, the Politburo announced the Decision to transfer and assign Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security to hold the position of Chief of the Party Central Committee Office.

Attending the Conference were comrades: Luong Cuong, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat; Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee. Comrades of the Party Central Committee: Mai Van Chinh, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Organization Committee; Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Le Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Lam Thi Phuong Thanh, Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee Office and comrades representing the Party Central Committees; the Party Central Committee Office and the Ministry of Public Security.

At the Conference, Comrade Mai Van Chinh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Organization Committee, announced the Politburo's Decision on personnel work. Accordingly, the Politburo decided: Comrade Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, ceased to hold the position of member of the Standing Committee, member of the Central Public Security Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; transferred and appointed to the position of Chief of the Party Central Office.

On behalf of the Politburo, comrade Luong Cuong, Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat, presented the decision and flowers to congratulate comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc.

The Standing Member of the Secretariat affirmed that Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc was trusted by the Party, State and people to take on a new task, which is not only the joy and pride of the individual, his family and hometown, but also the joy of the Party and the Public Security force. This is a very important milestone, recognizing the Central Committee and the Politburo's appreciation of Comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc's dedication and contributions to the Party's revolutionary cause.

According to Standing member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc is a capable officer, with basic and systematic training, trained and tested in practice from the grassroots to the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, and assigned by the Party and State a number of very important tasks.

During his working career, he always completed his assigned tasks well. He was awarded many noble titles by the Party, the State and the Ministry of Public Security.

Standing member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat Luong Cuong emphasized that the Central Office has a particularly important position and role. This is an advisory body, assisting the Central Executive Committee, directly the Politburo and the Secretariat in organizing and operating the Party's leadership work, coordinating and regulating the activities of the Party Central Committee's advisory bodies... At the same time, the Central Office of the Party is also a comprehensive information center for senior leaders of the Party and State.

Emphasizing that the tasks in the coming time are very heavy, in order to meet the new requirements, the Standing Committee of the Secretariat requested the Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Nguyen Duy Ngoc to quickly grasp the situation, in which it is necessary to focus on closely following the working program of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat for the entire term, including 2024, first of all, preparing for the 10th Central Conference of the 13th term.

The Chief of the Central Office grasps the situation, closely coordinates with central agencies to do a good job of advising the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat and the Standing Secretariat in directing and organizing the implementation to ensure the progress and quality of the work that the agencies have determined; prepares to serve well the conferences of the Central Committee, the Politburo and the Secretariat.

The Standing Secretariat also emphasized that Comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc and the leadership of the Central Office should promote the responsibility, capacity and enthusiasm of the cadres and office staff to handle well the daily work of the Party; grasp the area, promptly advise and handle well the work, arising issues, issues that need to be resolved, especially issues with potential complications. Perform well the functions and tasks of the Central Office of the Party, perform well the role of advising and managing the Party's assets, promote the role of the head in encouraging and using cadres and party members of the Central Office of the Party; focus on implementing the main tasks and tasks of coordinating the preparation for Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress; continue to maintain, uphold and enhance the tradition of the Central Office of the Party.

Standing member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong expressed his confidence and hope that comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc will quickly approach the new job, successfully complete the assigned tasks of the Party Central Office and the Chief of the Central Office in the context of Party congresses at all levels, towards the approaching 14th National Party Congress...

In his acceptance speech, comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc thanked the Party for its recognition and trust. Accepting the direction of the Standing member of the Secretariat, he affirmed that he would quickly grasp the work, promote the tradition and spirit of solidarity with the Party Central Office to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc was born in 1964, hometown: Kim Dong district, Hung Yen province.

Before holding the position of Chief of the Party Central Office, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc worked for many years in the police force. The new Chief of the Party Central Office used to be Deputy Director of the Hanoi City Police Department and Director of the Police Department for Investigation of Crimes of Corruption, Economic Crimes, and Smuggling. He was appointed Deputy Minister of Public Security in 2019.

At the 13th National Congress of the Party, he was elected as a member of the 13th Party Central Committee for the 2021-2026 term. In December 2023, Mr. Ngoc was promoted from Lieutenant General to Senior Lieutenant General.
