At the end of the session on February 5, the VN-Index closed at 1,269 points, up nearly 5 points.

The momentum from the previous session helped Vietnamese stocks gain momentum in the morning session of February 5. Demand continued to be a plus, along with the consensus from blue-chip stocks, helping the market maintain its green color. The real estate group had many stocks with impressive gains such as PDR, DIG, NTL...

Investors’ short-term profit-taking caused the market to shake in the afternoon session. However, the pressure was not too great and demand for stocks appeared near the end of the session, helping the general index to maintain some balance.

At the end of the session, the VN-Index closed at 1,269 points, up nearly 5 points, equivalent to 0.39%.

According to Dragon Capital Securities Company (VDSC), the market continued to increase but was still volatile. Liquidity decreased compared to the previous session, showing that cash flow supported the market but was cautious when the index increased rapidly.

"The contentious situation will continue in the next trading session due to short-term profit-taking by investors. However, the market will continue to be supported when it retreats and will have the opportunity to move up to the target of 1,280 points. Investors can take short-term profits on stocks that have increased to the resistance zone, consider short-term exploitation of some stocks with positive developments" - VDSC recommended.

Meanwhile, VCBS Securities Company advises investors to take partial profits on stocks that have achieved profits and are showing signs of being sold at the peak; at the same time, continue to monitor and select stocks that are attracting demand to disburse partial funds. Stocks in some notable industry groups are telecommunications, fertilizers-chemicals, construction, etc.
