The missing female student is Bui Bich Phuong (born July 26, 2003), residing in Dong Ngac ward, Hanoi ), Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture, University of Foreign Languages (Vietnam National University, Hanoi).
According to the announcement of Hanoi National University, the female student has been missing since September 11.
Speaking with Dan Tri reporter this morning (September 16), Phuong's family representative said that the female student has been missing for 5 days without any information, and the family is extremely worried.

Before that, at around 3pm on September 11, because of sadness after arguing with a friend on social media, Phuong asked her mother for sleeping pills but was refused. After that, Phuong asked permission to go out to relax.
When leaving, the female student wore a white shirt with yellow stripes on the chest, yellow plaid pants, and rode a white electric bike.
Around 4pm, Phuong called her mother and said she was at Lotte Ciputra, Tay Ho, Hanoi. This was her last contact with her family.
On the evening of September 11 and all day on September 12, the family called many times but the phone only rang, Phuong did not answer.
On September 12, Phuong's family discovered Phuong's white electric bike parked on the bank of the Red River, near where her backpack and helmet were found.
According to the family and people living nearby, at around 3:00 p.m. on September 11, they saw two young men wearing dark shirts park their motorbikes here, then throw Phuong's backpack into the Red River and leave in another direction.
The female student's family has reported the incident to the authorities.
