On the evening of June 16, Chau Doc City Police, An Giang Province, announced that after a period of active verification and search, the police force had found the missing female student during the 10th grade entrance exam in Chau Doc City.

According to Chau Doc City Police, at around 1:40 p.m. the same day, the police force found the female BA student in Trang Bom district, Dong Nai province and brought her back to her family.

Previously, on June 5, Mr. Nguyen Bao Tai (44 years old, residing in Chau Thoi 2 hamlet, Chau Phu B ward, Chau Doc city, An Giang province) went to Chau Doc city police to report that his daughter NTBA (15 years old) was missing after taking the 10th grade entrance exam at the Thu Khoa Nghia High School exam council.

After receiving the report, Chau Doc City Police coordinated with the professional departments of An Giang Provincial Police to verify and search for the female BA student.

Previously, Ms. Truong Thuy Linh (mother of student A.) said that student A. went to take the 10th grade exam on the final exam day on June 4. She took her there at noon, and A. told her to pick her up at exactly 5:00 p.m. At 5:00 p.m. the same day, A.'s father, Mr. Nguyen Bao Tai, went to the exam site but did not see her.

Mr. Tai asked his friends and teachers but still had no information about female student A. At the same time, he asked the school to extract the camera, but the school said it did not open the camera during the exam.

The family of female student A. posted information and pictures of their daughter on social media, asking the community to help find her.

Colonel Lam Phuoc Nguyen - Director of An Giang Provincial Police - said that A. explained that due to family pressure, he wanted to quit school but his parents did not allow it so he left home. He went to Dong Nai to rent a room alone and asked to work as a waiter at a restaurant. His wish was not to return home. The officers in the working group encouraged him to stabilize his mental state.
