The grapefruit growing model in the Red River alluvial land in Van Ha village (Phuc Loc commune) brings stable income.

The alluvial land along the Hanoi river is considered a “gold mine” of ecological agriculture, experiential tourism, and green space to protect the urban environment. However, for many years, it seems that the potential of the alluvial land has not been fully awakened.

In Bat Bat commune - a locality along the Da River, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune Hua Ba Trinh shared: "We want to develop a model of agriculture combined with tourism, there are investors interested, but when we sent the documents, the "dyke side" did not agree, the "construction side" said the conditions were not met... In the end, we all had to... give up".

Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Hanoi Green Cooperative (Lien Minh commune) Ba Thi Nguyet Thu said that the local planning is not clear, causing the models to only dare to produce seasonally, not promoting the diversity of products such as agricultural products, experiential agricultural tourism services...

Deputy Director of the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development (Ministry of Industry and Trade) Bui Nguyen Anh Tuan affirmed that the distribution system is the "nervous system" of the domestic market, connecting production - circulation - consumption. However, the biggest challenge today is transparency of the origin of goods.

Deputy Director of the Center for E-commerce and Digital Technology (Ministry of Industry and Trade) Bui Huy Hoang said that e-commerce is becoming an important method to promote the distribution of goods in the domestic market.

Deputy Director of the Trade Promotion Support Center (Trade Promotion Agency) Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy affirmed that trade promotion is not only promotion but also a bridge between production and consumption.

The 15-minute urban model is a spatial development orientation applied to a number of areas in Hanoi city in the Project to Adjust the General Construction Planning of Hanoi Capital to 2045, with a vision to 2065.

Architect Vu Hoang Yen (Hanoi University of Architecture) said that in the context of urban development at an unprecedented speed, along with urgent issues related to the environment and quality of life in urban areas, successfully implementing the 15-minute urban model is not easy.

Architect Vu Thai Manh Linh (Times Mirror International Architecture Joint Stock Company) said that many specific challenges come from the characteristics of planning, infrastructure and culture. Infrastructure challenges are reflected in the lack of synchronous planning in large cities.

Many practical benefits

According to statistics, Hanoi city has 159,780 facilities under fire prevention and fighting management. Of these, 19,575 facilities are assigned to the police for management and 140,205 facilities are assigned to the commune-level People's Committee for management.

Vice Chairman of Giang Vo Ward People's Committee Nguyen Anh Dung said that the ward is managing the state on fire prevention and fighting work at more than 1,000 establishments. With such a large number of establishments, while the force at the establishments is still small, the professional skills in fire prevention and fighting are limited, making the management work difficult.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tuan Duong, Deputy Head of the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department, said that the unit's officers and soldiers closely followed the instructions, quickly deployed training on reporting, updating information and installing fire alarm transmission equipment to 126 wards and communes in the city; ensuring "correct, sufficient, clean, and live" data.

Colonel Pham Trung Hieu, Head of the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department, emphasized: "Every facility, enterprise, organization and business household needs to be aware that declaring and connecting fire alarm transmission equipment is not only a legal obligation but also a practical action to protect the lives and property of themselves and the community."
