Shine the summer of love

VHO - Last weekend, at the main stage of the Ancient Citadel Walking Street, the Summer Activities Steering Committee of Son Tay Ward (Hanoi) held a ceremony to summarize the 2025 summer activities and gifted classes at the Children's House, closing a summer full of love, sharing and maturity of thousands of children in the area.

The program is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, towards the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital and welcome the new school year.

But beyond the framework of a summary event, the gala is also a tribute to those who silently build summer playgrounds, where children can play, learn, practice skills and grow up in the arms of family - school - society.

In two short summer months, Son Tay has made impressive numbers: More than 4,200 children participated in activities, 14 gifted classes, 6 swimming classes, nearly 10,000 visits to the swimming pool, 30 traditional education sessions, dozens of activities to propagate the law, prevent accidents and injuries, protect the environment...

Not only knowledge and skills, it is also a luggage of love woven from folk games, team building, singing and dancing, conversations with veterans, women, youth, farmers...

In particular, the inter-sectoral coordination model from the Women's Union, Veterans Association, Red Cross to Youth Union has created a colorful "summer symphony". Adults in the family - whether parents, grandparents, teachers or union members - have all become companions so that each child can have a complete summer.

The closing ceremony is an occasion to honor outstanding groups and individuals, but more than that, it is an affirmation that: When society, family and community put their hearts into children's childhood, each summer will become a beautiful memory and a launching pad for growing up journeys.
