'I don't require my wife to be perfect or to take care of the family'

Sweet Memories Season 3 is hosted by Meritorious Artist Kim Tu Long as MC. Returning to a completely new position, the male artist shared: "I only sing, act or play games, I also do MC work but not for a program of this scale. For me, I accept anything for art to challenge myself."

Despite being a multi-talented artist, Kim Tu Long also had difficulty taking on the role of MC. "The participants of Sweet Memories are mostly famous artists and singers, so I certainly know or have met those people. There are people I have sung with, or there are people who are juniors, seniors, or seniors. But after a very long time without seeing each other, how can I know what their lives are like to exploit them, that is also a challenge," he said.

What Kim Tu Long enjoys most about taking on the role of MC is being able to return with his idols to the glorious period in the 90s - 2000s. That is the outdoor stage with thousands of viewers, the provincial performances with the audience filling the auditorium or when going by boat, train, or on the street, the audience stopped and pulled up chairs to see the artists' faces. For the male Meritorious Artist, those are sweet memories, unforgettable interesting memories.

After taking on the role of MC, Kim Tu Long affirmed that this is not a simple job: "MC is very hard. As an artist, a singer, I can sing 2-3 songs and then go, but as MC Long has to sit from the beginning to the end of the program and talk non-stop. Singing 3 songs is not as tiring as talking for the whole program. Therefore, I really respect MCs. MCs use a lot of energy, consuming twice or three times more than singing. More importantly, being an MC requires a sharp mind, not holding a piece of paper to say no."

Not only working in the arts, Kim Tu Long also ventured into the business field. When asked about the secret to balancing life, the male artist said: "Many people say I'm too greedy, doing art, filming game shows, running restaurants, coffee shops, and now switching to perfume. But maybe God created me to want to learn, to want to find a job, to do everything. Like now I'm an MC. Even though it's not my main job, I still want to join and learn about it. Even though the restaurant business is not very stable now because of the difficult economic situation, I still don't give up, I still pursue it."

Sharing about his happy marriage with his wife Trinh Trinh, he confided: "I always think that my family should be just enough, not demanding too much from the wife, husband, and children. I should live comfortably, naturally and importantly, not demand too much from the other person.

I don't ask my children to be like this or that, nor do my wife ask her husband to be like this or that. I also never ask my wife to be perfect, to be beautiful, to do housework well, to take care of the children, to take care of the family. Just doing enough is enough. As for the things out there, we just consider them as life, dishes sometimes collide, and the family sometimes has storms. Consider it a lesson to learn from in the future, living lightly will lead to happiness," the male Meritorious Artist confided.

For the male Meritorious Artist, family happiness and joy are the most important things at the present time. Because he believes that: "Now looking up, I will see that I am not as good as anyone, but looking down, I am better than many people, so I feel very satisfied. I just hope that nothing happens in life, my family is always happy and healthy, that is my wish".
