(Chinhphu.vn) - With outstanding achievements in the process of building and growing with the country, on March 26, Viettel Construction Joint Stock Corporation was honored to be awarded the title of Hero of Labor by the President.

This is a noble award from the Party, State and Army in recognition of the achievements of Viettel Construction Joint Stock Corporation (Viettel Construction) in labor, creativity, and contribution to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland during the renovation period.

Established on October 30, 1995, Viettel Construction operates based on the main business lines: Construction and operation of telecommunications networks, civil construction, infrastructure investment, providing smart solutions and technical services for corporate and household customers both domestically and in foreign markets, and is ready to perform tasks of ensuring national defense and security.

With a courageous spirit, starting their historic journey, Viettel soldiers successfully built a series of important projects that left many marks in the development process of the country such as: 125 m high television antenna pole of Vietnam Television Station; the North - South fiber optic cable axis project of more than 2,000 km long of the military information line is a breakthrough solution of Viettel engineers in transmitting high-speed data while maintaining safety, confidentiality, and ensuring national security; 120 m high antenna pole of Tuyen Quang Television Station; 140 m antenna pole of Lao Central Television Station...

Over the past 10 years, Viettel Construction has always strived to work creatively for the goal of a rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness, civilization and affirmed its position as "No. 1 in Vietnam" in building and operating domestic telecommunications infrastructure networks, making important contributions to the economic and social development of the country.

Specifically, the telecommunications infrastructure built by the company is 3 times larger than that of 2013, nearly 120,000 km of fiber optic cable with 100% of mainland communes being opticalized, construction of nearly 60,000 broadcasting stations with a coverage rate of 98% of the population and 11 million fixed ultra-broadband ports, capable of providing services to 80% of households.

With a courageous spirit, Viettel soldiers always work hard and creatively to build and operate the domestic telecommunications infrastructure network, making important contributions to the economic and social development of the country.

Not stopping there, since 2017, Viettel Construction Joint Stock Corporation has participated in managing and operating the entire Viettel network infrastructure with 52,412 broadcasting stations, 271,000 km of fiber optic cables, 8 million FTTH lines, pioneering the construction and operation of the entire telecommunications infrastructure at the borders, islands and remote areas, the border areas of the Fatherland, and pioneering the construction of Viettel infrastructure in 10 foreign markets...

Presently, the Corporation has also expanded its business to civil construction, technical solutions and services; to date, the company has formed a professional apparatus and become a strong brand in the domestic market.

In this field, the company builds an average of more than 2,000 houses each year, with construction coverage reaching 94% nationwide to every village, hamlet and providing millions of households with green, clean, environmentally friendly solutions such as electronics, refrigeration, solar energy, and home appliance care.

As a bright spot in the Group's production and business activities, the company always exceeds its production and business targets; the average revenue growth rate over 10 years is 26%. For 5 consecutive years (2020-2024), Viettel Construction has been in the Top 500 Fastest Growing Enterprises in Vietnam.

Notably, in 2024, Viettel Construction Joint Stock Corporation received a letter of commendation from the Prime Minister for successfully completing the task of constructing 9 pole installation locations of the national key project of 500 kV line circuit 3 in the provinces of Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Thanh Hoa and Ha Tinh.
