On the afternoon of April 1, the Organizing Committee of the 60th anniversary of Ham Rong victory (April 3-4, 1965 - April 3-4, 2025) held a general rehearsal of the Celebration program.

Provincial leaders attended the rehearsal of the 60th anniversary of Ham Rong victory (April 3-4, 1965 - April 3-4, 2025).

Attending the program's general rehearsal were comrades: Nguyen Doan Anh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Lai The Nguyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Head of the Organizing Committee for activities to celebrate major holidays and important historical events in the province in 2024 and 2025; comrades of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Dao Xuan Yen, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee; Le Anh Xuan, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa City People's Council; comrade Dau Thanh Tung, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Organizing Committee for the Celebration Ceremony and representatives of relevant departments, branches and units.

The 60th Anniversary of Ham Rong Victory aims to recreate the historical value of our Party's ingenious military leadership, the heroic combat coordination of the army and people of Ham Rong, typically the coordination between the army, air defense, air force, navy, main force, local army, militia and people of Ham Rong - Nam Ngan, Thanh Hoa who fought tenaciously, heroically sacrificed themselves in the face of the brutal airstrikes of American planes, determined to protect Ham Rong bridge - the national traffic artery, to ensure support for the Southern battlefield with the slogan "All for the beloved South", "Determination to defeat the American invaders". The glorious victory of the army and people of Ham Rong - Nam Ngan, Thanh Hoa has excited the hearts of the army and people of the whole country and international friends, is an immortal heroic epic, a shining symbol of patriotism, heroic revolutionary will of the Ho Chi Minh era.

At the ceremony, there was an art program with the theme: "Ham Rong - Forever resounding heroic epic" consisting of 3 parts: Part I - Ham Rong is ready to fight; Part II - Ham Rong wins; Part III - Ham Rong forever resounds heroic epic. The art program was performed in the form of dramatization with scenes impersonating real historical characters combined with songs that have accompanied the years and some songs written about the Fatherland, the Party, Uncle Ho, Ham Rong, Thanh Hoa in combat and in the process of building, innovating, and becoming rich.

After the rehearsal, the Organizing Committee held a meeting to review experiences with relevant units and the program production team. The comments acknowledged the efforts of the scriptwriter, program director, and the training spirit of the actors and artists participating in the performance. Along with that, comments were contributed from many angles about costumes, actors' performance, dialogue, choreography, military uniforms and introduction of delegates...

In his speech, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Doan Anh acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Organizing Committee, functional units and branches, and the art program implementation team. At the same time, he gave his opinion on the program's introduction, testimony, and method of performing the ceremony and art performance. The Provincial Party Committee Secretary suggested that the duration of the celebration ceremony should be about 90 minutes. The art program and dialogue should be emotional, and the rhythm of the images and sounds should be harmonious. Along with that, the program implementation team should take full advantage of the comments from the Organizing Committee members, continue to edit and perfect the program to make it attractive and impressive, so that the program to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Ham Rong victory (April 3-4, 1965 - April 3-4, 2025) has profound historical and revolutionary significance, educating the traditions for the younger generations in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
