On the afternoon of October 1, a working delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor led by Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor directly presented gifts to support people and workers affected by storms and floods in Nghe An .
Welcoming the delegation was comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.
Recently, the consecutive impact of 3 storms has caused severe damage in Nghe An. In the province, tens of thousands of houses had their roofs blown off, many roads and bridges collapsed, and widespread flooding occurred... The total damage in the whole province is estimated at nearly 7 trillion VND. The lives of tens of thousands of people, workers, and laborers in industrial parks have been disrupted, with loss of income and lack of housing and living conditions.
Faced with that situation, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor supported the people of Nghe An province who suffered damage due to storms and floods with 500 million VND, through the Nghe An Province Fund for the Poor and Relief Fund Mobilization Committee.
At the reception ceremony, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang shared the losses and damages of the people of Nghe An in general and union members and workers of Nghe An in particular. At the same time, he acknowledged the efforts of the authorities at all levels in caring for the people's lives and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters. He also hoped that the Nghe An government would soon overcome difficulties and successfully achieve its goals in the coming time.
Welcoming the support delegation, on behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, quickly reported the damages of Nghe An province after storm No. 10. Also this afternoon, the delegation directly presented the support money at Luxshare-ICT Nghe An Company Limited. Also present were comrade Kha Van Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation; comrade Tran Thi Thu Huong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front; comrade Nguyen To Long - Deputy Head of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board.
The working delegation gave support to 12 union members of the company directly affected, each worth 2 million VND.

Also on this occasion, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation presented 50 million VND from the "Union Shelter" Fund to a worker whose house was swept away by floodwaters during the recent storm.
Sharing and deeply sympathizing with the damage and loss of union members and workers in the storm and flood, comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang affirmed that the Trade Union will always be a support, promptly taking care of the lives and interests of union members. At the same time, he expressed his wish that the company's leaders always ensure the regime for workers, thereby building harmonious and stable labor relations, workers can feel secure in their dedication, helping the business to develop more and more.
At the event, the company representative expressed his emotions and thanked the attention and practical support of the authorities and trade unions over the past time, creating conditions for the company to develop stably. At the same time, he expressed his emotions at the concern of the working group for the workers affected by natural disasters.
