Joining the atmosphere of the whole country competing to achieve achievements to celebrate the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024), on the morning of May 19, at Vinhomes Urban Area, Thanh Hoa City held a groundbreaking ceremony for key projects according to Resolution No. 303/NQ-HDND, dated July 13, 2022 of the Provincial People's Council on a number of special mechanisms and policies for the development of Thanh Hoa City.

Key projects under Resolution No. 303/NQ-HDND of the Provincial People's Council on a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Thanh Hoa City have been started, including: Thanh Hoa City Children's Cultural Palace and Sports Center Project; Hoi An Park Renovation and Upgrade Project; Le Loi Avenue Expansion Project, from Phu Son intersection to Dong Bridge; North-South Railway Overpass Project and the road at both ends of the bridge belonging to the East-West Avenue route.

According to the report of Thanh Hoa City People's Committee, the project of Children's Cultural Palace and City Sports and Physical Training Center is built in Dong Hai ward with a land use area of ​​4.1 hectares, with a total investment of more than 247,850 billion VND. The investment objective of the project is to complete the out-of-school educational institution, creating a material basis for organizing educational, entertainment and learning activities for Thanh Hoa City's youth. Thereby contributing to improving the quality of human resources, serving the sustainable development of the city. At the same time, ensuring the criteria of a type I urban area, creating an architectural highlight for the new central area of ​​Thanh Hoa City.

In terms of construction scale, the Children's Cultural Palace includes the main items of a 7-storey building; a 300-seat gymnasium; a 3-storey auxiliary building; a covered physical training area; a main gate; a guardhouse; a fence; teaching and administrative equipment; and technical infrastructure. The sports and fitness center includes the main items of 2 soccer fields for practice; 2 basketball courts; 1 tennis court; an indoor swimming pool; a gate; a fence; a guardhouse; technical infrastructure and a parking lot. The project construction period is 20 months, with the expected completion date in December 2025.

Perspective of Hoi An Park Renovation and Upgrade Project.

The Hoi An Park Renovation and Upgrade Project has a total investment of more than 76,284 billion VND. The goal is to create green areas, themed landscapes, entertainment, recreation, physical education and sports areas to serve the needs of the people. At the same time, to maximize the cultural value of Hoi An Park, create a highlight of the landscape space in the area, harmoniously connect with the overall landscape architecture of the city, contributing to the socio-economic development of the city. The project construction period is 14 months, with the expected completion date in July 2025.

The Le Loi Avenue Expansion Project, from Phu Son intersection to Dong Bridge, has a total investment of 1,008 billion VND, with the goal of gradually completing the traffic network in the area, connecting traffic routes in the province, serving the travel needs of the people, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security of the city in particular and Thanh Hoa province in general. At the same time, it enhances connectivity and facilitates traffic between regions in the area with Tho Xuan Airport; reduces traffic congestion on the city's main road and creates a landscape axis in the urban area. The Le Loi Avenue Expansion Project, from Phu Son intersection to the end of Dong Bridge, has a length of 1.5km. The project construction period is 15 months, with an expected completion date of September 2025.

The North-South Railway Overpass Project and the roads at both ends of the bridge belonging to the East-West Highway have a total investment of more than 647,120 billion VND. With the goal of investing in completing the traffic system according to the approved planning, creating architectural highlights in the urban area; synchronously connecting traffic infrastructure, urban technical infrastructure, creating favorable conditions for people's travel; reducing traffic congestion on National Highway 47 through the North-South railway. At the same time, connecting with the Eastern and Western urban areas with the city center; serving the economic, cultural and social development of Thanh Hoa City. The North-South Railway Overpass and the roads at both ends of the bridge have a total length of 800m. According to the design, the bridge is decorated with art to create a highlight for the urban space of Thanh Hoa City. The project construction time is more than 13 months, the expected completion date is July 2025.

The projects, after completion, will create momentum for urban development, increase the ability to attract investment, promote socio-economic development of the province; contribute to the implementation of Resolution No. 58-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the construction and development of Thanh Hoa province to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

To achieve the above goal, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mai Xuan Liem requested Thanh Hoa City to identify these as key projects, of extremely special significance to the city; as typical projects, with unique landscape architecture, bearing the characteristics of Thanh Hoa, it is necessary to be resolute in managing and directing investors, construction contractors, and supervision contractors to uphold the sense of responsibility, properly perform their functions and tasks according to regulations on construction investment; organize construction to ensure quality, technique, aesthetics, progress, environmental hygiene and safety, and labor safety. Strive to complete ahead of schedule and strive for these to be the projects inaugurated to welcome the 20th Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
