The command board of the city-level summer volunteer programs and campaigns has thoroughly implement the principle of concentrating resources to organize priority programs and campaigns in Ho Chi Minh City, especially in new rural communes. The Green Summer and Pink Holiday volunteer campaigns continue to be organized in difficult areas, especially border areas of provinces and fronts in the Lao People's Democratic Republic, Thanh An island commune (Can Gio district) and Phu Quy island district ( Lam Dong province).

According to Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union Ngo Minh Hai, last summer, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union overcame many challenges and difficulties in organizing and implementing summer volunteer campaigns and achieved many positive results. Notable among them were volunteer activities to support public administrative service centers in communes and wards after the merger and many other meaningful activities. In the coming time, Ho Chi Minh City youth will continue to support digital literacy programs, organize meaningful activities in remote, border and island areas.
