All 4 players of Vietnam excellently won tickets to continue to meet Tran Quyet Chien and Tran Thanh Luc in the final round.

Tran Quyet Chien goes to battle

Today, Tran Quyet Chien officially started his match in the tournament being held in Egypt. Vietnam's number 1 player is in group C with Tran Thanh Luc, Ayman Mahmoud (Egypt) and Pierre Soumagne (France). Quyet Chien will start his match at 3:00 p.m. (Vietnam time), facing his compatriot Thanh Luc.

At the same time at 3:00 p.m. , Tran Duc Minh will face Chiem Hong Thai in group A, while Bao Phuong Vinh will compete with veteran player Eddy Merckx (Belgium) in D.

Group A has Duc Minh, Hong Thai, Dick Jaspers (Netherlands) and Vera (Mexico). Bao Phuong Vinh is in Group D with Eddy Merckx, Tolgahan Kiraz (Türkiye) and Berkay Karakurt (Türkiye).

The second and third matches of groups A, C and D will take place at 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. respectively.

Nguyen Chi Long is in Group G with Heo Jung-han (Korea), Marco Zanetti (Italy) and Glenn Hofman (Netherlands). Chi Long will take the field at 5pm , against Zanetti. The second and third matches of Group G will take place at 9pm and 1am on December 6 (Vietnam time) respectively.

The Sharm el Sheikh 2024 Billiards World Cup Finals will have 32 players competing, divided equally into 8 groups (4 players each), playing a round robin to calculate points and rank. The matches are played to 40 points, with equal turns (with a draw). The top two players in each group will advance to the knockout round (16 players).
