Attending the program were representatives of Thien Tam Fund; leaders of the Provincial Red Cross, the Provincial Department of Education and Training; School Boards in the area along with a large number of teachers and students.
On the occasion of the opening of the new school year, Thien Tam Fund awarded 200 gifts, each worth 1 million VND in cash, with a total cost of 200 million VND to students with especially difficult circumstances in the province.

At Nguyen Tat Thanh High School for the Gifted, 100 gifts were given directly to students of the following schools: Ly Thuong Kiet High School, Hoang Quoc Viet High School, Nguyen Tat Thanh High School for the Gifted, Nguyen Hue High School, Le Hong Phong Middle School and Yen Bai High School for Ethnic Minorities. On the same day, the remaining 100 gifts were delivered to many other schools in the province.

Over the years, humanitarian work, especially supporting disadvantaged students to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies, has always been the core mission of the Provincial Red Cross Society. The companionship of Thien Tam Fund - Vingroup Corporation through annual gift-giving programs has contributed to supporting thousands of studious students.

The gifts not only provide material support but also spiritual encouragement, giving the children more strength to confidently enter the new school year, strive to study, practice, and become useful citizens to society.
