Awarding graduation certificates to 22 students of the Global Mini MBA training program

After more than 2 months of hard work studying and practicing, on November 10, the Global Mini MBA - Management Thinking training program officially closed, concluding the meaningful learning journey of the leadership and management team of GELEX Group and its member companies in the system.

The event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Trong Hien, Chairman of the Board of Directors of GELEX Group, and the Evaluation Council from the FSB Institute of Management & Technology. At the defense ceremony, the students were divided into 4 groups and participated in the defense with 4 topics including: Applying Lean in inventory management at HEM; Arousing Creative Culture at GELEX Group; EMIC - Aspiration 2030; Strategy to lead employees to adapt to Digital Transformation at GELEX Group.

The students had a lively and engaging presentation and thesis defense, with clear and convincing presentations. The presentation created an energetic and intellectual academic space that brought many valuable lessons to both the presenter and the audience.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Trong Hien - Chairman of the Board of Directors of GELEX Group expressed: "Over 2 months, with 8 modules, which are very core issues in the management, operation and leadership of the enterprise. Coming here, we can connect and let go of many old thoughts and ways of doing things. Hopefully, through what the students learn from this course, they will immediately apply it to practice at the first Strategy Conference organized by GELEX in the near future." Representing the students participating in the course, Mr. Nguyen Trong Trung - Deputy General Director of GELEX Group shared the useful and practical knowledge and skills of the course that will help students apply them effectively to their work. “At first, I didn’t expect much from the course. I thought it was more theoretical, but after studying, I found that the practicality and learning spirit of GELEX people are very high. We promise to bring the knowledge we receive from the lesson back to GELEX to be able to apply and successfully deploy it at GELEX, to contribute to building the 2030 strategy to achieve the dreams and ambitions of GELEX people,” affirmed Mr. Nguyen Trong Trung. Ms. Le Thi Nga - General Director of EMIC Company shared: “The course is very practical, there are 2 things that are impressive and linger in me, which is the access to practical Case Studies from other businesses that the teachers shared. The next point I see is that my teammates have skills and management thinking that develop day by day. In particular, another thing I want to apply immediately to EMIC in 2025 is to streamline production to improve product quality, improve product stability and minimize waste”.

Speaker Hoang Nam Tien shares the topic "Authentic Leadership".

The event was honored to welcome speaker Hoang Nam Tien - Vice Chairman ofFPT University Council, who shared profound views on the topic "Authentic Leadership". With rich experience in the field of management, Mr. Tien not only conveyed valuable lessons on leadership, but also evoked new thoughts on how to build and develop a team, as well as the qualities needed for a true leader. His sharing created strong inspiration and motivated the students to reflect on their own leadership path in the future. Opening on September 7, 2024, the Global mini MBA - Management Thinking training course has gone through 30 sessions with 8 topics and 1 Bootcamp, the students have equipped themselves with more knowledge about management such as: Human resource management 4.0; Strategic management and leadership; Decision making based on financial information; Marketing management; Lean operations management; Managing change; Developing relationships and partnerships; Building a lasting corporate culture. Experienced and dedicated lecturers from FSB Institute of Management & Technology have brought flexible and creative learning methods such as: Constructivism learning method: Combining many different learning methods such as learning through projects, problems and practical activities, making the lesson more interesting. 2C Game method: Strengthening teamwork and interaction between groups to solve problems together. Hollywood Teaching Plan method: Based on the unexpected changes in blockbuster movies, FSB has diversified the form of lectures with case studies, bootcamps and combined presentations. At the end of the course, FSB Institute of Management & Technology awarded prizes to groups that defended their excellent topics, honored and awarded scholarships to outstanding students.
