Awarding scholarships to children in special circumstances

BAC NINH - On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival 2025, on the afternoon of September 19, the Department of Health coordinated with departments and branches to visit and periodically award scholarships to 4 children in especially difficult circumstances in the communes of Trung Kenh, Luong Tai and Lam Thao.

Leaders of the Department of Health and the Department of Education and Training visited and gave gifts to encourage 4 children including: Ngo Van Long, Loi Chau village, Le Bao Chau, Cap Trai village, Trung Kenh commune; Nguyen Anh Tho, Dao Su village, Luong Tai commune; Ngo Thi Hai, Tuyen Ba village, Lam Thao commune.

At the places visited and awarded scholarships, leaders of the Department of Health and the Department of Education and Training kindly asked about the living conditions of the families, shared their difficulties and encouraged the children to strive to improve their lives, constantly strive in studying and working, actively practice and cultivate themselves to become good citizens, helping their families and their homeland.

According to the program, 50 children in special and difficult circumstances were awarded scholarships by the Bac Ninh Provincial Children's Support Fund, each worth 12 million VND. This is a transitional activity of the Bac Ninh Provincial Children's Support Fund (old) in Decision No. 10 dated November 6, 2024 on financial support for orphans in difficult circumstances and Decision No. 12 dated December 31, 2024 on financial support for sponsoring children in especially difficult circumstances in the area. According to these two decisions, from the Provincial Children's Support Fund, students will receive scholarships of 500,000 VND/month for 2 years, including 20 students from January 2025 to December 2026 and 30 students from November 2024 to October 2026.

Since July 2025, many meaningful programs for children in special circumstances have been implemented in the province. Typically, 600 gifts including vitamin D3K2 products were given to 300 children in Hoang Van commune with a total support budget of nearly 200 million VND.
