Deploying preschool education tasks for the 2025-2026 school year

After merging provincial administrative units, Tay Ninh has 347 preschool and kindergarten educational facilities, including: 296 public schools, 51 non-public schools and 521 private independent nursery groups, kindergarten classes and preschool classes distributed widely in 96/96 communes and wards.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the whole province will have 95,951 preschool children attending class; preschool education programs and school health work are guaranteed, 100% of children are checked and monitored for health; the rate of malnutrition, underweight, stunted, overweight and obese children has decreased compared to the beginning of the school year.

The model of "Child-centered education" is maintained in 100% of preschools; experiential education and STEAM associated with local culture are flexibly implemented; ethnic minority education has clearly changed, with 571 ethnic children attending class.

Inclusive education for children with disabilities is guaranteed with 97/97 children attending class receiving periodic individual intervention and support. At the same time, activities to familiarize children with English are implemented in 192/347 schools in the province.

Also in this school year, the Department of Education and Training promptly implemented support policies for children and teachers. Specifically: 5,558 preschool children who are children of workers and laborers working in industrial zones are supported with 160,000 VND/month and 187 preschool teachers working at private preschools in areas with industrial zones are eligible for support of 800,000 VND/month.

In addition, investment in facilities is given attention: 100% of restrooms ensure safety for children; 92.31% of groups/classes have sufficient equipment and minimum toys; 87.89% of schools have outdoor equipment;...

Regarding the work of enhancing the application of information technology and digital transformation in preschool education, 100% of preschool education institutions deploy the "School Management System" software using electronic records, contributing to reducing procedures and improving management efficiency.

The work of universalizing preschool education for 5-year-old children in the whole province has been maintained and stabilized. In 2024 alone, the rate of mobilizing 5-year-old children to go to school reached 99.9%; 5-year-old children studying 2 sessions per day reached 100%; 5-year-old children completing preschool education program reached 97.52%; the number of disabled children accessing education was 87/105 children, reaching a rate of 82.86%;...

Tay Ninh province is building an Education Development Strategy for the 2025-2030 period with a vision to 2045, which clearly defines the roadmap for investment in facilities and staff development, aiming at the goal of universalizing preschool education for children from 3 to 5 years old across the province.
