Celebrating the 65th anniversary of the Small Plan movement, many practical and useful activities, creating a spirit of learning and exciting competition among children, were carried out in Ha Tinh .

The Small Plan Movement is a movement of Vietnamese children, born on December 2, 1958. Over the past 65 years, the "Small Plan" movement has contributed to the construction of many practical and meaningful works such as: Red Scarf Hotel, Tien Phong Youth Plastic Factory, Pioneer Youth Train...; presented many gifts and scholarships to support children in difficult circumstances.

Following the teachings of beloved Uncle Ho "Young people do small things", to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Small Plan movement, Ha Tinh children actively and enthusiastically participated in various celebration activities such as: launching the movement "Raising economical pigs", raising "Red Scarf chickens", organizing scrap collection, launching the project "Small Plan House", "Green House"; implementing the movement "Small Plan - Contributing pink bricks", organizing cleaning of school and classroom grounds; participating in planting trees, taking care of flower beds and ornamental plants...

The Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Council of Young Pioneers, and the Provincial Children's Assistance and Consulting Club awarded scholarships to disadvantaged children in Hong Linh Town at the Ha Tinh Children's program competing to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings.

In particular, the Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Council of Young Pioneers, and the Provincial Children's Assistance Consulting Club also organized a provincial program for Ha Tinh Children to compete in following Uncle Ho's 5 teachings and train them on how to implement a model to promote children's participation in children's issues (November 2023). At the program, delegates joined the young pioneers and children to launch the Small Plan movement for the period 2023 - 2028, through scrap collection activities and implementing the "Frugal Pig Raising" model.

The activities help young team members deeply understand the meaning and value of the Small Plan movement, thereby creating an environment for team members and children to compete, practice, build awareness of labor, save and protect the environment, share and help friends, and promote the tradition of "Young people do small things".

Also on this occasion, the model "Small Plan - Contributing Pink Bricks" of Ha Tinh was honored to be 1/22 provincial-level projects commended at the program to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the "Small Plan" Movement organized by the Central Youth Union and the Central Council of Young Pioneers on December 2.

This is a project to mobilize social resources and the results of the implementation of the "Small Plan" movement of children to contribute funds to serve the restoration and embellishment of the National Historical and Cultural Relic of the War Crimes Remnants Site of Huong Phuc Secondary School (Huong Khe District).

Up to now, the teams have donated 1.6 billion VND to support the restoration of the relic site; organized more than 500 pilgrimages to red addresses combined with commendation, admission of new team members, youth union members, and visits to experience new rural models... contributing to educating young people about the heroic history of the nation and revolutionary traditions.
