Art photography exhibition "Colors of M'nong" by artist Ngo Minh Phuong

(NADS) - On October 16, the Dak Nong Provincial Literature and Arts Association organized an art photography exhibition with the theme “Colors of the M'nong” by artist Ngo Minh Phuong. A large number of audiences representing departments, agencies, and artists in the province came to visit and share joy with the author.

With the theme “Colors of M'nong”, the author sent to the audience 120 photos with many themes about the homeland, culture, and people of Dak Nong. The 120 works on display are award-winning works, exhibited at provincial, regional and international art photography competitions and festivals in the country and internationally in recent times by artist Ngo Minh Phuong.

During his recent artistic career, artist Ngo Minh Phuong has contributed many works of high artistic value, carrying meaningful and humane messages. The artist has a very special abstract visual mindset, expressed through moments of shooting that reach a sublimation of emotions that not every author has, along with the golden moment in the art of photography that the author captured. From there, he has formed and created unique works of art, bringing many successes in the field of photography to the author in recent years. Notable works include: the photo series Exploring the Krong No volcanic cave complex - Won the 2022 VAPA Gold Cup, the highest award of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists; the work Harvest Season - Won the bronze medal of the 2017 South Central Coast & Central Highlands Art Photography Festival; the work Summer Joy - Won the PSA Gold Medal of the American Photographic Society... and many other high-prize winning works in domestic and international photography competitions.

Many delegates and guests attended the exhibition opening ceremony.

A new Dak Nong, rich with festival activities, durian harvest season, captivating M'nong dances, and bridge 14 connecting the two provinces of Dak Nong and Dak Lak ... are described in detail and vividly by the author through impressive works of art. The photo exhibition "M'nong colors" is the crystallization of the dedicated artistic work and tireless creative passion of artist Ngo Minh Phuong. With pride and gratitude for his homeland Dak Nong, through the exhibition, the author wishes to connect, share, spread and preserve cultural values imbued with M'nong identity.
