Speaking at the opening ceremony, Consul General Vu Chi Mai emphasized that each painting is a slice of memory, reflecting both loss and separation and lighting up faith, resilience and the desire for peace - the lasting values that the Vietnamese people always cherish. She affirmed that the Exhibition is not only a place to preserve national memories, but also a cultural bridge connecting Vietnam and Japan - two countries with many similarities in tradition, culture and the desire for peace.
