Actress Zhao Wei expressed her condolences to writer Qiong Yao on Weibo after her passing at the age of 86. This is the actress's first move after 3 years of "hiding" on social media.

Zhao Wei posted a tribute to female writer Quynh Dao - the person who helped her achieve part of the success she has today.

Zhao Wei's lines come from the poem Lin Jiang Xian by the Ming Dynasty poet Yang Shen, China. They are also the opening lines of the novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms by Luo Guanzhong.

The poem with the line "bao do anh chieu ta" is also the name of a famous novel by Quynh Dao. The work was adapted into a movie, starring Tan Han and Luu Tuyet Hoa.
