During the fierce years of the Dien Bien Phu campaign, along with the troops going to battle that year, many artists followed Uncle Ho's call, leaving behind the bustling urban life, joining the resistance war, directly participating in the Dien Bien Phu campaign. With their feelings and creativity, they recorded realistically and vividly the images of life, fighting full of hardships, sacrifices, but also no less romantic of our army and people. Up to now, the theme of the Dien Bien Phu victory - a glorious page in history is still the inspiration, the source of creativity for many generations of artists to successfully express fine art works.
