Accordingly, this year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking uses 4 admission methods, including:

Method 1 : Direct admission and priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Conduct direct admission and priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and direct admission and priority admission policies according to the school's admission regulations.

Method 2 : The comprehensive admission method of Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City is the admission method based on academic results and high school achievements.

Admission requirements:

Candidates graduating from high school in 2025 and 2024

+ For candidates graduating in 2024: Candidates have an average score of 6.5 or higher in semester 2 of grade 11 and semester 1 and semester 2 of grade 12;

+ For candidates graduating in 2025: The study results of semester 2, grade 11 and semester 1, semester 2, grade 12 must be good or higher.

How to calculate admission scores:

Admission score is the converted score according to the subject combination of 3 semesters plus the converted score according to other criteria (if any) and the total converted priority score (if any). Priority score for subjects and regions is converted according to a 150-point scale.

Converted score according to subject combination of 3 semesters = converted score (average score according to combination of semester 2 grade 11) + converted score (average score according to combination of semester 1 grade 12) + converted score (average score according to combination of semester 2 grade 12).

Converted score according to other criteria = Converted score of international English certificate + Converted score of excellent student selection exam + Converted score of specialized/gifted school.

Method 3 : Admission based on the results of the 2025 V-SAT computer-based university entrance exam

Admission requirements:

For candidates graduating in 2024 or earlier: Candidates must have an average GPA of 6.5 or higher in semester 2, grade 11 and semester 1, semester 2, grade 12;

- For candidates graduating in 2025: The study results of semester 2, grade 11 and semester 1, semester 2, grade 12 must be good or higher.

- Candidates can participate in many rounds of V-SAT computer-based university entrance assessment organized by Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City (each round registers at least 1 group of subjects). The test results of the rounds in the year will only be considered for admission in the correct year of admission and at the correct time for receiving university application documents using this method.

- All subjects in the admission combination must be taken at exactly one exam-organizing school.

- Banking University only accepts V-SAT test results from units that have signed an agreement to organize, recognize and share the results of the V-SAT computer-based university entrance exam with HUB.

Method 4 : Admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2025

Admission requirements: The school will announce the threshold score to ensure input quality for each admission major after the 2025 high school graduation exam results are available.

Method 5: High school transcript review and interview

(Applicable to international full-time university programs with partner degrees), high school graduates or equivalent.

- For candidates graduating in 2024 or earlier: Candidates have an average score of semester 2, grade 11 and semester 1, semester 2, grade 12 of 6.5 or higher;

- For candidates graduating in 2025: The study results of semester 2, grade 11 and semester 1, semester 2, grade 12 must be good or higher.
