Sai Gon High School said the incident was related to a conflict between students at the school. As soon as the information was received, the homeroom teacher took the initiative to discuss and invite both parents to the school to work, but it was unsuccessful.

According to the school, on November 17, students TTS and VTH (close friends of NNQN students, both in class 12D21) had a loud argument with each other.
Knowing that these two students had a conflict, the school directed the homeroom teacher to invite the two students to write a report about the incident.
On the same day, through information, the homeroom teacher learned that students TTTH and BCNN (both friends of TTS) also had words with student NNQN.
After being analyzed and explained by the teacher, the students understood and committed to making peace. The teacher also instructed students that when conflicts arise, they should contact and report to the homeroom teacher for resolution.
On November 20, the homeroom teacher of class 12D21 organized a class meeting and reminded the students about the incident that happened on November 17, disciplined them and advised them to focus on their studies.
From November 20 to 22, the students still attended class as usual and completed their studies well. During this time, both the homeroom teacher and the school were not aware of the incident that occurred on the afternoon of November 19 in the lobby of the Opal Garden Apartment.
According to the presentation of parents and TTTH students, on November 19, NNQN and parents made an appointment with TTS, BCNN and TTTH to come to the lobby of the TTTH students' apartment building (Opal Garden Apartment, Street 20, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City) to talk.
During the conversation, a conflict occurred between the TTTH student and the NNQN student's parents. After the incident, the TTTH student's family took him to the doctor.
According to the school, the incident happened suddenly, erupting in a short period of time. As soon as the information was received, the homeroom teacher proactively discussed and invited parents from both sides to the school to work.
However, up to now, parents from both sides have not come to school to discuss the incident. The school board has continued to direct the homeroom teacher to discuss with the class, parents and students from both sides to stabilize the psychology and learning of the students.
The Board of Directors and the School Council visited the students at home to encourage them and understand their parents' wishes in order to have a suitable solution. This is a very unfortunate incident and the School has actively supported the affected students and coordinated with the authorities to resolve the matter.
The school added that on November 23, the School Board was informed that student T.TT.H. did not come to school. A representative of the School Board contacted the student to inquire about his health and encouraged him to rest assured; at the same time, he directed the Board of Directors to arrange teachers to support learning during the student's absence, and the medical department to send staff to provide psychological support to the student.
As reported by VTC News, on November 22, T.TT.H, a 12th grade student at Saigon High School (No Trang Long Street, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City) sent a petition for help to the Hiep Binh Chanh Ward Police, Thu Duc City, about being beaten by a group of people, causing injuries.
The fight left TH with injuries to her face and chest. After beating the female student, QN’s family members got into a car and left the scene. TH was taken to the hospital for examination and treatment.
In addition to TH, a female student NN who was in the same class was also threatened by QN's family, making her feel insecure and afraid. After TH was beaten, both female students reported the details to the school and Hiep Binh Chanh Ward Police.
