On March 28, Mr. Pham Khac Phara - Chairman of the People's Committee of Phao Dai Ward, Ha Tien City, Kien Giang Province - said that the Nui Den route, more than 3km along the coast, is the most beautiful route in Ha Tien City and has become a destination for many young people. The Nui Den roundabout will be put into operation in early 2024.

The entire route is lined with winding poplar trees along the coast, with the mountainside on one side and the southwest coast on the other. There are also sidewalks on both sides of the road for visitors to stroll and enjoy the view of the sea.

Tourists flock to Nui Den to visit, check-in and swim, so many locals open shops to serve tourists.

Currently, the locality has coordinated with relevant agencies to promote environmental sanitation in this area and signed a contract with a unit to collect garbage.

"This route is usually crowded and bustling from around 4 p.m. to evening. Phao Dai Ward also regularly checks and reminds people not to encroach on the sidewalk to ensure traffic safety, but somewhere people still do not strictly comply," said Mr. Phara.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Mong Quyen - Director of the Center for Trade and Tourism Promotion of Ha Tien City - said that in the first 3 months of 2024, Ha Tien City welcomed nearly 865,000 tourists, an increase of 25% over the same period.

"We consider the Nui Den coastal road to be the most beautiful road in Ha Tien city at this time. The planning includes an eco-tourism area in this area. Investing in this road has many purposes, both attracting investment and connecting tourism development areas," said Ms. Quyen.
