Tuyen Quang has 2 units awarded the Cooperative Star Award in 2024

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sang, Director of Sang Nhung Safe Food Production and Processing Cooperative, received the 2024 Cooperative Star Award.

From the nominations, the Organizing Committee selected 128 typical cooperatives; the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance unanimously voted for 100 cooperatives to honor and award the Cooperative Star Award in 2024. Tuyen Quang province has 2 units awarded the title including: Thanh Binh Transport and Environmental Services Cooperative and Sang Nhung Safe Food Production and Processing Cooperative.

To achieve the Cooperative Star title in 2024, units must meet many criteria such as: For the agricultural sector, the revenue must be from 1.5 billion VND/year, after-tax profit of 100 million VND/year, average income of 2.5 million VND/month/worker. For cooperatives in the non-agricultural sector, the minimum revenue must be 5 billion VND/year, the revenue of the following year must be higher than the previous year...

The organization of the ceremony to honor typical cooperatives and award the Cooperative Star Award aims to honor humane business models for the progress of society; and to arouse the aspiration for cooperatives.
