Propaganda about fire prevention and fighting for students

Lieutenant Colonel Bui Van Hong, Deputy Head of the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Department of Soc Trang Provincial Police, said: This activity is to realize the implementation of the Ministry of Public Security's plan on propaganda, experience, and practice of fire fighting and rescue in 2024.

At the same time, provide guidance on some basic knowledge, fire safety measures and rescue, methods of handling situations, and escape skills when a fire or explosion occurs in a house, household, apartment building, or crowded place.

Introducing the model of the Inter-family Fire Safety Team, the model of the public fire fighting point; practicing the use of fire extinguishers, spraying water to put out fires; instructing on first aid for victims. In addition, the unit's officers and soldiers also demonstrated some fire fighting and rescue techniques and methods of the provincial police.

Lam Huynh Ngoc Khue, an 11th grade student at My Xuyen High School, happily said: “My friends and I really enjoyed participating in today's field trip when we were instructed on fire prevention and rescue regulations, experienced a fire truck, practiced spraying water, and used a fire extinguisher to put out a fire. This knowledge and skills are very useful for us.”
