The ancient Am Duoc was the place where our ancestors researched and prepared medicine. When he came to practice at Yen Tu, King Tran Nhan Tong built Am Duoc, searched for herbs and medicinal herbs from the Yen Tu mountains and forests, and prepared medicine for the people. Am Diem was the place to store salt, Am Hoa was the place to preserve flowers before they were sent to the pagodas on the mountain to offer to Buddha.
Giai Oan Pagoda is associated with the legend of the concubines of King Tran Nhan Tong and is also the only pagoda in Yen Tu with a Mother Goddess altar. One-Roof Pagoda is where Buddha Hoang reads books and composes sutras. The pagoda has only one roof with unique ancient architecture, leaning against the cliff, bringing a unique beauty in the middle of the sacred mountain. Van Tieu Pagoda, where Buddha Hoang lived and passed on the mind seal to Phap Loa and Bao Sai.
Hoa Yen Pagoda – also known as Chua Ca – is the most important Buddhist center in the Yen Tu pagoda system. Located at an altitude of about 535 meters above sea level, the pagoda is located on a rare flat land in the middle of the mountainside. Here, Buddha King Tran Nhan Tong stayed to preach, accept disciples and spread the Truc Lam Zen sect's ideology. Hoa Yen Pagoda and the To Tower Garden area with 64 towers are considered the "heart of Yen Tu", in which Hue Quang Kim Thap is the place to worship Buddha King Tran Nhan Tong and preserve his relics.
A prominent destination on the running route is the area of the Buddha Emperor Statue - the largest monolithic bronze statue in Vietnam, cast in the proportions and appearance of the original stone statue worshiped in the Hue Quang Pagoda. The highest point on the running route is the Dong Pagoda with a height of 1,068 meters, considered the point where heaven and earth meet, where you can take in the view of a majestic mountain range.
On the journey to explore the heritage route, each relic site is like a strong spiritual energy station for athletes to overcome the challenges on the running route.
