Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival 2025: Largest scale ever

VHO - On the afternoon of September 23, the Organizing Committee of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival 2025 held a press conference to announce the program. This is the first unique and typical traditional cultural festival of Hai Phong after the merger, taking place in a special context: commemorating Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Hung Dao and Nguyen Trai, and at the same time honoring the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac relic and scenic complex, which has just been recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage.

This year's festival was solemnly organized, upgrading the scale of the ceremony and the festival, standardizing the rituals worthy of the heritage. The festival space expanded from the Kiep Bac temple gate to Luc Dau river. The art program " Hai Phong - The quintessence of the heritage land" was staged grandly, applying 3D mapping technology, recreating the feats of the Tran dynasty.

The focus of the festival is on October 7, 2025 (August 16 of the lunar calendar) with a series of activities: The 583rd death anniversary commemoration of World Cultural Celebrity Nguyen Trai; The 725th death anniversary commemoration of National Hero Tran Hung Dao, Opening of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival in 2025;

Opening the Autumn Festival in 2025, welcoming, propagating, and promoting the event of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac Monuments and Landscape Complex being recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site; Art program "Hai Phong - Quintessence of Heritage Land"; Opening Ceremony of Saint Tran's Seal.

Within the framework of the Culture – Tourism and Trade Promotion Week (October 4–12), there will be a thematic exhibition, introduction of OCOP products, demonstration of traditional handicrafts, and folk art performances. The city also introduced three new tourism products: the “One journey – 5 destinations of World Heritage” tour, the “Following the footsteps of the Three Patriarchs of Truc Lam” tour, and the “Discovering Con Son – Kiep Bac” tour.

The event also contributes to affirming Hai Phong's pioneering role in preserving and promoting heritage values ​​and linking sustainable tourism development.

The 2025 Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival is therefore not only a ritual to commemorate and pay tribute to ancestors, but also a place to gather the quintessence of culture and beliefs, spreading the value of world heritage to domestic and international friends. In the sacred space along the historic Luc Dau Giang River, this year's festival promises to leave a deep impression, affirming the eternal vitality of national culture in the modern flow.
