The largest exporting enterprise is Ameii Vietnam Joint Stock Company with 1,000 tons, the remaining enterprises from 100 - 300 tons.
Before being exported, Thanh Ha lychees are brought to Hanoi for irradiation and treatment with ionizing radiation to kill insects, their larvae and eggs, prevent the spread of pests, ensure food safety and meet quarantine standards. These procedures are implemented to meet the strict quarantine requirements of the above mentioned high-demand markets.
