The Ministry chose February 14, Valentine's Day, as the effective date of Circular 29. Whether intentional or unintentional, this circular, despite its many controversies, contains responsibilities and love.

For the first time, the legal document of the industry recognizes the reality of rampant extra classes, which drain students' energy and parents' money, as mentioned for a long time.

And above all, industry managers have dared to look directly at the situation of forcing students to take extra classes.

The most notable point of Circular 29 is that teachers are not allowed to teach extra classes with regular students in their own class. This regulation solves the problem of students having to take extra classes with teachers in class, which has been discussed for a long time. The Circular has demonstrated the responsibility and love of administrators towards students through practical regulations.

Not only for students, Circular 29 of the Ministry shows responsibility and protects the industry's workforce. Also because of extra teaching, teachers have long been criticized by students, parents and public opinion.

Teachers who do not give extra classes with regular students will no longer have to face the rumors of oppressing and persecuting students...

It is about finding and returning transparency to each teacher.

Circular 29 also takes a fair look at the responsibilities of schools in education .

For a long time now, the situation of extra teaching and learning has been rampant. Weak students go to extra classes, good students go to extra classes, and students who are neither weak nor good also go to extra classes.

For many families, the tuition for their children's formal education may cost only 1 dong, but they have to work 3, 4, or even many times more to pay for their children's extra classes. This also promotes inequality in education right in the school environment.

There are concerns that extra classes become regular classes, and regular classes become extra classes. During regular classes, teachers and students do not teach or study to their fullest, but wait… for extra classes and extra classes.

Now, the Ministry has raised the responsibility and role of schools in Circular 29 for the quality of education with the regulation that extra teaching and learning in schools only applies to students with unsatisfactory results, to foster excellent students and to review for final exams.

And no charge. Because that is the school's responsibility.

The regulation requires every school administrator, teacher and every student to make a real effort to fulfill their role.

And Circular 29 of the education sector also clearly understands that the greatest education for each person is family education.

When schools "return" extra teaching to the family, it requires each father and mother to organize, rearrange their activities and spend more time with their children. More than anyone else, at this time, parents themselves must also study and improve to accompany their children, and cannot "outsource" everything to the school and teachers.

With less extra classes, each student will have to think more, brainstorm more, research, explore, and think for themselves instead of having everything "fed" to them.

Circular 29, which takes effect today, is not only about extra teaching and learning, but also opens up a new perspective in educational thinking about self-study and real learning.

Each step of the new regulation on extra teaching and learning will certainly have many difficulties and many things to do. But I believe that when love and responsibility speak up, each subject in education will have more strength in their responsibility.
