According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, the cooperation helps connect the vibrant urban resources with the rich plateau, forming high-end tourism products combining relaxation, health care and cultural experiences. This is also the premise for piloting tea-drinking spaces at luxury hotels in Ho Chi Minh City from 2025.
Ho Chi Minh City tourist group visited the 1927 Ancient Tea Factory. This factory owns the oldest traditional black tea production line in Indochina, a rare treasure that any tea lover would want to admire.
According to Ms. Dang Nguyen Minh Trang, General Director of Renaissance Riverside Saigon, when tourists come to Ho Chi Minh City, they will not only feel the vibrant life of the city but also touch the quintessence of highland tea. This is a way for the hotel to increase the value of its services, while spreading the cultural identity of Vietnam to the world .
From the perspective of a local business, Mr. Tran Nguyen Van, Director of Bao Loc Tourism Joint Stock Company (Lam Dong) said that the development orientation of the unit does not stop at upgrading accommodation and resort services but also focuses on connecting with travel companies in Ho Chi Minh City and the Southeast region to build more complete experience journeys for tourists.
"One of the unique products is enjoying high-class tea associated with the Bao Loc raw material area, which is considered the capital of the Vietnamese tea industry. In fact, Vietnamese tea culture has a long history and the unit wishes to spread that value, contributing to affirming the position of Lam Dong tea culture in particular and Vietnamese tea culture in general on the international tourism map," Mr. Nguyen Van added.
Ms. Vo Ngoc Diep, Head of the Department of Tourism Accommodation Management (Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism) said that the connection between Ho Chi Minh City - a vibrant "international gateway" and Lam Dong - a "resort paradise" rich in identity will open up a diverse system of tourism products, from modern urban experiences to romantic highland spaces. In particular, Bao Loc tea culture is expected to become a high-end product, associated with a journey to visit farms, learn about the processing process and enjoy tea in an artistic space, contributing to raising the level of Vietnam's tourism brand on the international map.
