The beauty of Nam Chien Hydroelectric Dam
Nam Chien Hydropower Plant is built on Chien stream, located in the land of Ngoc Chien and Chieng Muon communes, Muong La district (Son La) - one of the most difficult construction projects in Vietnam. The main dam is designed as a concrete arch dam, curved towards the upstream with a height of 135m, this is the first dam designed and built with the largest arch shape in Vietnam.
