At noon on September 18, at the press conference to inform the results of the 1st Congress of the Da Nang City Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, the representative of the Da Nang City Party Committee answered the question about the fact that there was still 1 vacant "seat" of Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee compared to the previous announcement that there would be 5 Deputy Secretaries.

According to Mr. Nguyen Trong Hung, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee, before the congress, the Da Nang City Party Committee had carried out steps on personnel preparation procedures in accordance with regulations. On that basis, the proposed personnel plan included 1 Secretary and 5 Deputy Secretaries of the City Party Committee.

For now, the Politburo has decided to appoint 1 Secretary and 4 Deputy Secretaries, the specific list has been announced at the congress. Mr. Hung also said that the number of missing City Party Committee leadership personnel will be considered by the Politburo and the Secretariat after completing the personnel of the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City at the upcoming Front Congress.

The first Congress of the Da Nang City Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, took place from September 16 to 18 at the Da Nang City Political School Hall. At the opening session, the presidium announced the Politburo 's decisions on appointing 75 members to the Executive Committee and 23 members to the Standing Committee.

The Politburo also appointed a Standing Committee of the City Party Committee consisting of 5 people. Accordingly, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet was appointed as Secretary of the City Party Committee; 4 Deputy Secretaries of the City Party Committee include Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; Pham Duc An, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City; Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung, Chairman of the People's Council of Da Nang City and Mr. Ngo Xuan Thang.

At the closing session, the congress also passed a decision to appoint a 36-member delegation of the City Party Committee to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party.

In his closing speech at the congress, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet requested that each member of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Standing Committee of the City Party Committee must truly set an example and be a pioneer in action; demonstrate courage and determination in leadership and direction; be close to the grassroots, understand the legitimate and legitimate thoughts and aspirations of the people; flexibly apply the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws into practice...
