Viettel ranked 2nd in the world at the International Business Awards

Recently, the Military Industry-Telecoms Group ( Viettel ) announced that it has won 25 awards at the International Business Awards (IBA) 2025, becoming the Vietnamese enterprise with the best performance in the history of this award and the enterprise with the second highest number of awards in the world this year.

IBA is a prestigious and long-standing award honoring innovative organizations worldwide, evaluated by more than 250 international experts. 2025 is the 22nd time the award has been held, attracting more than 3,800 participating businesses, including big names such as IBM, HP, Telus, DHL,...

This year, Viettel continues to be the Vietnamese enterprise with the best performance at the IBA awards with the most awards, including 08 Gold awards, 10 Silver awards and 07 Bronze awards, an increase of 11 awards compared to 2024 and bringing Viettel's total number of awards at IBA to 124 since its first participation in 2016.

Notably, Viettel's foreign markets have set a record milestone when 7 out of 10 markets won awards with a total of 16 awards. Of which, Bitel (Viettel in Peru), Lumitel (Viettel Burundi), Metfone (Viettel Cambodia), Mytel (Viettel Myanmar) won Gold awards in important categories of the award such as Fastest Growing Company of the Year, Company of the Year, Social Responsibility and Technology. Up to now, foreign markets have been one of Viettel's important growth drivers.

Viettel Global, the unit that manages Viettel's international investment activities, was also honored with the Silver Award in the categories of "Success in expanding international markets" and "Company of the Year."

High achievements at IBA, especially of foreign brands, demonstrate Viettel's "go global" strategy over the past 20 years, and at the same time demonstrate its capacity for innovation and sustainable development in each country where Viettel is present, enhancing national competitiveness and bringing Vietnamese values to the world .

Viettel also achieved high results in the categories of sustainable digital services and infrastructure. Viettel's postal service also won the Gold Award in the category of "Most Innovative Mobile Technology Application."

With technological capabilities that keep up with the world's latest trends in sustainable development, green infrastructure and automation, Viettel is transforming its telecommunications and postal businesses into technology industries in both Vietnam and foreign markets.
