Viettel brings 5G technology to every small alley in the West

On June 19, 2025, Viettel officially launched the 5G bus in Can Tho city, opening the journey of spreading 5G technology to people in 6 provinces in the Southwest region. This is an activity within the strategy of popularizing 5G nationwide to help people in all regions access superior digital experiences, free of charge and most easily.

The 5G bus is not only a mobile sales point, but also a vibrant technology experience space - where people can: Directly connect to the high-speed 5G network; Participate in technology - entertainment activities such as playing the game "Dataoke", experiencing AI, receiving phone + SIM 300GB data incentives; Use free data to watch livestreams, explore "huge" packages such as SD125T with 300GB/month.

The 5G bus trip will last nearly 2 months, visiting more than 160 stops in 6 provinces: Can Tho, Vinh Long, Ca Mau, Dong Thap, Kien Giang and An Giang - with the expectation of becoming a mobile technology charging station, spreading the spirit of digitalization and creating a vibrant summer of 2025 in the West.

In particular, in addition to this journey, Viettel will organize the technology art event "Lotoshow 5G" at 6:00 p.m. on June 28, 2025 at Ben Ninh Kieu Park, Can Tho City - with vibrant music, youthful style and a series of attractive prizes: Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy A06 5G, travel bags, phone accessories,...

Previously, Viettel's campaign to give away 6GB of data to encourage 5G activation created a strong effect, attracting more than 1 million new subscribers, bringing the total number of Viettel 5G subscribers to 7.2 million, affirming the strong demand and potential for 5G development in Vietnam.
