Domestic car sales surpass all international car brands for the first time

On October 11, VinFast officially announced that it had delivered more than 9,300 cars to customers in September alone. This is the company's own published data on electric car sales, but did not detail the number of each car model sold.

Meanwhile, the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA) reported that the best-selling car brands in the association were Toyota with 6,986 cars, Mitsubishi with 5,385 cars, Kia with 4,015 cars, Ford with 3,967 cars, Honda with 3,607 cars, and Mazda with 3,583 cars. VAMA's figures are compiled by the companies in the association themselves.

Based on the above data, it can be seen that this is the first time a domestic electric car brand has taken the No. 1 position in the market, demonstrating strong growth and growing consumer support for electric cars in Vietnam.

VinFast's sales come from all electric vehicle models currently on the market such as VF e34, VF 3, VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, VF 8 and VF 9.

This success not only helps VinFast accelerate Vietnam's green transition, but also puts the country in the rare group in the world that records the superiority of electric vehicles over gasoline vehicles at the present time.
