Vinh Hoan (VHC) June revenue increased by 22%, main product pangasius did not grow

Vinh Hoan Corporation (Code VHC) has just announced its business results for June with total revenue reaching 1,030 billion VND, up 22% over the same period.

Notably, other products recorded a growth of 51%, accounting for VND221 billion in revenue structure. In addition, by-product revenue increased by 39% to VND188 billion. Health care products increased by 24% to VND61 billion.

Vinh Hoan’s traditional main product, tra fish, recorded revenue of VND491 billion, up only 3% over the same period. However, tra fish products still contribute 48% of Vinh Hoan’s total revenue.

The bright spot in business results came from the growth in export revenue. The European market increased by 31% to 163 billion, the US increased by 8% to 266 billion and China increased by 18% to 143 billion.

Domestic market revenue also increased by 18%, recorded at 316 billion VND in June.

Regarding the 2024 business plan, Vinh Hoan set out two scenarios. In which, the optimistic scenario has revenue reaching 11,500 billion and the less optimistic scenario has revenue of 10,700 billion. According to this target, Vinh Hoan has completed 53% - 57% of the plan after the first 6 months of the year.
