Billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong's Vinpearl is about to go public.

(NLDO) - Nearly 1.8 billion shares of Vinpearl ( Vingroup Corporation) are about to be listed on the stock exchange.

The Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) has just announced the receipt of the application for listing shares of Vinpearl Joint Stock Company. Accordingly, this company registered to list nearly 1.8 billion shares, equivalent to a charter capital of VND17,933 billion.

Previously, in December 2024, Vietnam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation (VSDC) announced that it had accepted custody of nearly 1.8 billion VPL shares of Vinpearl, in book-entry form.

Vinpearl is a member of Vingroup's ecosystem, headquartered on Hon Tre Island, Vinh Nguyen Ward, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province.

The consolidated financial report of Vingroup Corporation (stock code VIC) for the fourth quarter of 2024 shows that the total consolidated net revenue for the whole year of 2024 reached VND 192,159 billion, an increase of 19% over the previous year and the highest revenue milestone in the history of the group. Pre-tax profit reached VND 16,724 billion, an increase of 21.5% over the same period last year.

The company owns, operates and manages 30 hotels and resorts under the Vinpearl brand in 17 provinces and cities nationwide.

In the resort tourism sector, Vinpearl welcomed more than 1.3 million international visitors, an increase of 58% compared to the previous year. Vinpearl's brand value increased by 34% to 230 million USD last year.
