On September 19, Nguyen Van Triet Primary School (Linh Xuan Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) officially sent a notice to parents about some information related to the timetable and suspected food poisoning in the school lunch.
Accordingly, in the meeting between the school and the representative board of the branch president and the representative of the parents of grade 1, regarding the curriculum and timetable, the school agreed with the parents' opinions and will adjust the timetable according to the latest document of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City. Specifically, regarding the study time, it will be 4 periods in the morning and 3 periods in the afternoon. The morning class will end no earlier than 10:30 am and the afternoon class will end no earlier than 4 pm and no later than 5 pm.
After the regular school time, children will study at the club based on voluntary registration by their parents.

The school would like to inform that the company providing meals has signed a contract with the school for many years and has a license and complete documents, specifically Quang Minh Import-Export Investment and Business Company Limited (due to the company's needs, from the beginning of 2025, the company changed its name from Minh Quang Import-Export Investment and Business Company Limited to Quang Minh Import-Export Investment and Business Company Limited).
Regarding the test results of the food samples stored at the boarding school on September 5, there were no problems, all were negative for bacteria and mold strains (test results attached). Previously, as reported by the Lao Dong Newspaper, after the school lunch (5-9), some students at Nguyen Van Triet Primary School had stomach aches and diarrhea. The school later verified and compiled that 74/1,763 boarding students in 14/45 classes had symptoms of stomach aches, of which 71 students were monitored at home, 3 students were taken to the hospital by their families for monitoring, with symptoms such as nausea, stomach aches, and fatigue.
