On the afternoon of February 28, speaking with Dan Tri reporter, the leader of Dong Hoi Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Hospital said that a report had been sent to the Ministry of Health regarding the case of two subjects bringing drugs to hide in a laundry shop on the hospital grounds.
The hospital also cooperated closely and provided information to serve the police investigation.

The subjects who possessed drugs were Dang Thanh Vu (born in 1994) and Hoang Hai Duc (born in 1990), both residing in Dong Hoi city (Quang Binh), employees of a company that has a laundry contract with the Vietnam - Cuba Dong Hoi Friendship Hospital.
Previously, at around 5:15 p.m. on February 26, at the hospital laundry (an area the hospital assigned to the laundry unit to manage and use under contract), the police caught a subject red-handed possessing 84 pink synthetic drug pills.
During an emergency search of the residence and workplace at the laundry factory, the police discovered and seized an additional 400 synthetic drug pills.

At the investigation agency, Vu and Duc confessed that while working at the laundry factory, they bought the above drugs to hide and use.
Quang Binh Provincial Police have drawn up a record of the arrest of the offender, temporarily detained Dang Thanh Vu and detained Hoang Hai Duc in an emergency.
The case is being further investigated and clarified by the police.
