The case of a teacher coming to a student's house and repeatedly slapping him in the face in Thanh Hoa: The school reported the incident

TPO - On the afternoon of August 13, the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa province said it had received a report from Vinh Loc High School (in Vinh Loc commune, Thanh Hoa province) reporting the incident of a clip circulating on social networks recording the image of teacher VXT, an English teacher, repeatedly slapping a student in the face.

According to a report from Vinh Loc High School, the incident occurred on August 8. At that time, teacher VXT went to the house of student NTH (7th grade student, Pham Van Hinh Middle School, Tay Do commune, Thanh Hoa province) to scold and slap this student.

The report also stated that teacher T. and student H. are cousins (H.'s father is teacher T.'s uncle). During her studies, student H.'s family asked teacher T. to tutor her from grade 3 until now.

The report of Vinh Loc High School sent to the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa stated that the cause of the incident was that while communicating with friends, H. told them that his brother (teacher T.) taught in a difficult way (using vulgar language). Angry because his student spoke disrespectfully to his brother, who was also the teacher, teacher T. went to H.'s house, yelled at and slapped H. (in the presence of H.'s mother).

Immediately after learning of the incident, the school's Board of Directors asked Mr. T. to report and review.

After the incident, Mr. T. and his family took H. to the Hanoi Central Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital for a health check. As a result, H. suffered a torn eardrum in her left ear. She is currently being cared for at Thanh Hoa Children's Hospital and her health has stabilized.

Previously, Tien Phong newspaper reported that the authorities had stepped in to verify a clip posted on social media that recorded a man riding a motorbike to a house, calling a male student out to the yard and then repeatedly slapping the male student in the face. The incident was determined to have occurred at 9:33 a.m. on August 8, 2025, in Vinh Long commune, former Vinh Loc district (now Tay Do commune, Thanh Hoa province). The man in the clip is a teacher currently working at Vinh Loc High School, and the male student who was beaten is a 7th grader in the area.
