On the morning of January 18, the People's Committee of Vu Thu district held a conference to summarize cultural, information, sports and tourism work in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded certificates of merit to individuals with outstanding achievements.

In 2023, Vu Thu district actively implemented digital transformation. The whole district received over 18,500 records on the online public service portal, of which 83.7% of records were processed online, and 83.7% of records were digitized online. The whole district had 91.7% of households achieving the title of cultural family, 94.7% of residential areas achieving the title of cultural village and residential group. Sports and physical training activities were maintained and participants were expanded. The District Party Committee issued a resolution to promote local tourism development.

In 2024, the culture and information sector of Vu Thu district will closely follow and propagate important political tasks in the locality; carry out festival management well, especially organize Keo Pagoda festival well; mobilize people to unite and actively participate in building cultural life and healthy sports activities. The district continues to implement digital transformation activities, strengthen radio frequency management; pay attention to and gradually turn tourism into an important economic sector of the district.

Leaders of Vu Thu District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to outstanding collectives and individuals in cultural and sports activities and development of reading cultural space.

At the conference, 8 collectives and 13 individuals with outstanding achievements in management, cultural, information, sports activities and development of reading cultural spaces were commended and awarded.
