Grasping the new development trend of green agriculture , Lam Thao Super Phosphate and Chemical Joint Stock Company (Lam Thao Super Phosphate) has actively innovated and developed in line with the trend of the times, always accompanying the development of agriculture and Vietnamese farmers. In recent years, Lam Thao Super Phosphate has continuously introduced new fertilizer products to the market such as: Organic mineral fertilizers, microbial fertilizers, etc. to serve the development of green, clean and sustainable agriculture. In particular, recently, the Company has researched and invested in building an Experimental Garden to create a clean agricultural model and green space right on the Company's campus.

The "Experimental Garden" project was started by Supe Lam Thao in November 2023 with a total area of ​​over 5,000m2, with an investment value of nearly 6.3 billion VND. In February 2024, the project was completed and put into use in phase 1, including items such as: Site improvement; construction of a regulating lake; construction of walkways, resting areas and landscapes around the lake; construction and implementation of experimental models in a high-end greenhouse with an area of ​​557m2, with a high-tech agricultural production model in large-scale farming and in urban agriculture (the entire greenhouse is designed according to EVS-EN 13031-1:2002 standard - Greenhouse structural design standard of the European Greenhouse Association). The greenhouse is fully equipped with insect screens and systems: Insulation and cooling nylon rolls, convection fan system, sun-blocking net, growing plants on substrates, aeroponic growing, hydroponic growing, semi-hydroponic growing, urban growing, automatic control (Agricultural environmental climate monitoring system, automatic watering and fertilization system... All plants grown here are grown according to clean agricultural production processes, using Lam Thao fertilizer products to ensure harmony, science , and suitability to the growth and development conditions of each type of plant.

The secret to plant growth and high yield

These days, being present at the Experimental Garden of Lam Thao Super Phosphate and Chemical Joint Stock Company, we will witness the joyful atmosphere of harvesting green vegetables by agricultural engineers and youth union members of the Company to provide a source of clean green vegetables on the spot, serving mid-shift meals for all officers and employees of the Company.

While harvesting vegetables, Mr. Tran Xuan Thanh - Secretary of the Company's Youth Union said: Right from the first days when the Experimental Garden was put into operation, the Company's Youth Union actively coordinated with the Company's agricultural engineers to carry out projects and youth work associated with creating a green, clean and beautiful ecological landscape here. The Company's Youth Union mobilized a large number of youth union members from units in the Company to participate from the stage of preparing the land, seeds and throughout the process of caring for and harvesting green vegetables. In addition, the Youth Union also participated in planting and caring for the lemon garden and the cosmos garden. Up to now, the cosmos garden is entering the period of blooming fragrant flowers, attracting a large number of Company staff, employees and partners, customers to visit; the lemon garden is also in the harvest period and supports the supply of lemon juice to serve workers on hot days.

As one of the engineers dedicated to the Experimental Garden, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Quynh shared: With a vegetable growing area of ​​about 1,000m2, she and the Company's agricultural engineers and the Company's Youth Union have come up with a plan to grow sweet cabbage and mustard greens using Lam Thao fertilizers in a closed process from planting to harvesting, combined with an automatic irrigation system installed around the garden. After about two months of planting, although the weather sometimes rained for many days, significantly affecting soil erosion, with timely and reasonable care and fertilization of Lam Thao, the vegetable garden always grew and developed well, was not harmed by pests and diseases, and gave high yields. In addition, in the greenhouse, agricultural engineers also experimented with growing many types of mustard greens, all of which grew well and gave high yields.

Sharing the secret of planting and caring for vegetable gardens for high productivity and outstanding efficiency, Ms. Quynh said: The steps in the process of planting, caring, and fertilizing must be carried out according to the correct technical process. In particular, the use of Lam Thao fertilizer must follow the 4 correct principles: Right type, right dosage, right time, right method will help the vegetable and fruit garden grow healthily, give high productivity, limit harmful pests and contribute to soil improvement.
