Hong Quang Commune organizes free swimming lessons for children and teenagers.

Implementing the 2025 summer activity plan, from August 4 to 10, Hong Quang Commune Youth Union organized a free swimming class for 46 youth and children in the area, prioritizing children from poor and near-poor households with the will to excel in their studies.

Implementing the 2025 summer activity plan, from August 4 to 10, Hong Quang Commune Youth Union organized a free swimming class for 46 youth and children in the area, prioritizing children from poor and near-poor households with the will to excel in their studies.

The class consists of 46 students who are union members, young people from poor and near-poor households who have excelled in their studies in the commune.

Swimming classes take place at Canh Kien swimming pool (An Thi 1 village) from 7am to 9am every day. The program includes: providing basic swimming theory knowledge, practicing breaststroke skills; preventing and handling drowning situations. In particular, children are instructed in rescue and first aid skills in water; essential skills to protect themselves and help others when needed.

Swimming classes aim to promote, raise awareness and knowledge of accident prevention and injury prevention, especially drowning accidents for children and adolescents.

The Standing Committee of the Commune Youth Union invited swimming coaches and physical education teachers to teach swimming to students.

The Hong Quang Commune Youth Union mobilized nearly 30 members and youths to participate in supporting many practical activities such as guiding students, ensuring safety, organizing the opening ceremony and providing logistical support. The funding for organizing the class was mobilized from the local community and from organizations and individuals.
