Tho Long Commune gives Independence Day gifts to people for 2 days

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Implementing the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch No. 149/CD-CP dated August 28, 2025; Resolution No. 263/NQ-CP dated August 29, 2025 of the Government and the directives and instructions of superiors on giving gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, Tho Long commune has deployed the distribution of gifts to people in the area.

People of Tho Long commune received gifts on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day September 2.

On the afternoon of August 31, in the joyful atmosphere celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2, Tho Long commune organized an Independence Day gift giving ceremony for the people.

According to Decision No. 2940/QD-UBND dated August 30, 2025 of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province on approving the targeted supplement of the budget estimate for giving gifts to people in the province on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, Tho Long commune has an estimated budget of more than 3,116 billion VND.

To promptly deploy the distribution of gifts to the people according to the prescribed time, the commune has established a Joint Steering Group and 9 Working Groups directly in charge of 2 gift distribution points at the People's Committee headquarters and the Commune Police headquarters.

During the implementation process, the cadres and civil servants of the Commune People's Committee, the mass organizations, the Party cell secretaries, and the village heads closely coordinated and guided the people to receive gifts at the right time and place. The Commune Police force arranged to ensure security and order, creating favorable conditions for the people, contributing to creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, while strengthening the trust and spirit of solidarity, towards building an increasingly rich and civilized homeland.

As planned, tomorrow, September 1, Tho Long commune will continue to organize the direct delivery of gifts to people, ensuring the right recipients, publicity, transparency and timeliness.
