According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade , based on the developments in world oil prices, fluctuations in the VND/USD exchange rate and current regulations, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance decided to adjust retail prices of oil products to ensure domestic prices are consistent with world trends, encourage the use of biofuels and harmonize interests among market participants.
Specifically, the maximum retail price for E5-RON92 gasoline is not higher than VND19,756/liter (down VND95/liter compared to the current base price), lower than RON95-III gasoline by VND644/liter.
RON95-III gasoline price: not higher than VND 20,400/liter (down VND 39/liter compared to current base price).
Diesel 0.05S: not higher than VND 18,643/liter (increase VND 170/liter compared to current base price).
Kerosene: not higher than VND 18,368/liter (increase of VND 54/liter compared to current base price).
Mazut oil 180CST 3.5S: not higher than VND 15,090/kg (down VND 286/kg compared to current base price).
In this adjustment period, the joint ministries decided to continue not to set aside and not to use the petroleum price stabilization fund for E5-RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene and fuel oil products.
According to the joint agency of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, the world petroleum market during the operating period from September 4 to 11 is affected by many factors, with alternating up and down trends for all commodities.

The above developments caused the prices of petroleum products during the mid-term management period from September 4 to 11 to be as follows: 79.218 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5-RON92 gasoline (down 0.492 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.62%); 81.540 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (down 0.166 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.20%); 85.630 USD/barrel of kerosene (up 0.336 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.39%); 87.644 USD/barrel of 0.05S diesel oil (up 0.990 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 1.14%); 399.768 USD/ton of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil (down 9.816 USD/ton, equivalent to a decrease of 2.40%).
According to regulations, petrol traders will adjust prices at 3:00 p.m. this afternoon, September 11.
