Building a tour program for the event "World Culture Day in Hanoi"

Accordingly, from October 3-5, 2025, at Thang Long Imperial Citadel , the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will preside over and coordinate with ministries, branches and localities to organize the first "World Culture Day in Hanoi " . This is an international cultural diplomacy event, aiming to build an annual activity with the motto "Culture is the foundation - Art is the means", while affirming Vietnam's proactive and active role in international cooperation on culture.

Within the framework of the program, a series of large-scale cultural and artistic events with the participation of many countries will be open to the public and domestic and international tourists. Outstanding activities include:

1. World Cultural Festival in Hanoi: Displaying unique cultural spaces of many countries; professional art performances; demonstration of traditional folk games of Vietnam and other countries; and many audience exchange activities.

2. International Cuisine Program: Introducing the quintessence of traditional cuisine of various countries; exchanging and instructing on food preparation; organizing voting and awarding souvenirs for typical dishes.

3. International Folk Dance and International Fine Arts Program: Display and introduce fine art works; perform traditional and contemporary folk dances from many countries.

4. International Costume Program, Ao Dai Festival: Parade, performance of Vietnamese Ao Dai and typical costumes of many countries.

In addition, on December 19, the International Book Festival will take place at Hanoi Book Street, where the public will have access to publications about culture, art, countries and people in many different languages. Thematic talks and many exchange and experience activities will contribute to bringing culture closer to the public.

The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism respectfully informs businesses to widely inform and develop tourism programs to bring visitors to the event locations during the above mentioned time. This will be an opportunity to create new and attractive tourism products, while contributing to promoting the cultural and tourism image of the Capital to domestic and international tourists.
